Cinque Terre -
Vernazza
By: Tom Ogg
Ahhh, Vernazza
Everyone has their
favorite village and for me, it was Vernazza. I could
easily spend a week in this little village and may do so
at some point in my life.
Vernazza's Harbor
I am not sure how Venazza
could be any more picturesque. It is one of those places
that you think about when you envision Italy in its
purest form.
Vernazza's Colorful
Architecture
Pastel buildings sit at
water's edge in a timeless environment.
Vernazza Awesome!
Vernazza is a place that
artists must come and fell like they are living in their
own work. I am not sure how even an artist could improve
on Vernazza's unbelievable beauty.
Vernazza's Hillside
Beauty
Everywhere you look there
are photo opportunities galore. Rich colors, contrasting
images and a pure Italian flavor make Vernazza a very
special village.

An Ocean Front
Restaurant Balcony
Right by the inner harbor
there was a small restaurant up some stairs that had a
wonderful little balcony that you can enjoy a libation
and watch the sunset at. While I didn't dine there, the
food looked delightful.
Sunset From Vernazza's
Ocean Front Restaurants
I personally enjoyed
Vernazza so much that I stayed for a lingering sunset
and enjoyed a bottle of wine at one of the ocean front
restaurants that make up Vernazza's harbor area. If I
had to give a village a "must visit" rating over the
rest, it would be Vernazza that received it.
